Day Job: Deputy Head of SEN School
I’ve worked in Special Needs Education for more than 20 years and I really love getting to know people and having fun with them. I started as a full time volunteer, back in the 20th century and altogether spent 3 years volunteering at Special Schools and at a University. I qualified as a teacher in 2003 and moved into senior management in 2009. I’m currently Deputy Head of a Special School.
I met Dan nearly 10 years ago when we worked together and we hit it off straight away. We’re both passionate about helping people around us and want My Social Time to offer high quality sessions to help people connect with one another.
When I’m not working I play lots of sports, most of them badly. I also enjoy reading books and listening to podcasts.
